Milking it came up for my op.
I was interviewed by the anaesthetist before the op and was put second on list because the time I had my last cup of coffee with milk in. He said it was probably fine but made up their mind about schedule for ops. There were three operations planned.
From NHS website about general anaesthetic.
‘You may be told to avoid certain types of fluids, such as milk, or white tea and coffee, as they have proteins and fats in them which could damage your lungs. Clear fluids, such as water, black tea or coffee, or processed fruit juices, are usually recommended.’

Nil by mouth after midnight. Actually my coffee and milk was at 11 but just in case.

Roob as you know I used to be a dairy manager…… and Hathor is milking it notice her shiny (diamond) necklace it rings a cowbell…..and brings all the boys (the milky bar kids) to the farmyard.
