Missive From ‘Merica: Missive #137

*Good grief, there’s full Moon, too, Clicky? …/bites lip… There’ll be lunatics abroad tonight…*

As promised in yesterday’s missive, Dear Reader, Cade has very kindly whizzed across the 137th installment of his wonder ramblings for your pleasure. I also mentioned yesterday that today, Friday 13th of September, has a connection with 137. Well, two actually…

Moss Goon

… The date when written out UK style is 13/9…

Moss Goon Reversed

*/Tuts… I haven’t finished yet, Clicky…*

… And 139 is a Twin Prime with 137…

Moss Goon

*Told ya… /sticks out tongue…*

… Plus as September is named for ‘seven’, the date can be conceived as 13/7. Then there’s the Alternative Thinking 37 sync…

*/lights up…*

…Raphael at that site has been thinking deeply and alternatively about ‘137’ for the longest time, and has amassed a 137 treasure trove. Yesterday he published a splendid post, the first in ages. 37 is the 12th Prime and today, of course, is the 37th Friday of 2019…

Scoob and Mystery Machine

*Yeah, yeah, and 37 is also the atomic number of ROOB ID, I AM… /smokes… It ain’t about me, Clicky…*

That’s why I am delighted to be able to present the Text US Okie Devil’s 137th missive for the LoL of it today, Dear Reader…

Enjoy! ❤

*******

Didn’t get the job – got the rejection email earlier. No big deal really – been turned down and/or ignored for prolly a thousand jobs over the past few years. But this one I was qualified for somewhat, and, I aced the typing test. 40 wpm average with a 98.5% accuracy on a 5 minute typing test ain’t that bad, especially for someone who typically doesn’t type by sight. In fact, I never type by sight. Like read something, and type it at the same time. I’m quite impressed with my typing test result. That’s no mean feat.

(me being impressed with myself)

Aphasia

Don't ask why I put that there
^DIE KRUPPS ~ Schmutzfabrik^

SO! What’s up over in Merovee land, eh? Was not my intent to kick a hornet’s nest. Just trying to understand what’s being said. Cade is not known for being the sharpest knife in the drawer, and it’s kinda nice to know where he stands.

^Front 242 – Rhythm of Time (Victor the Cleaner)^

From a learning standpoint, how did I just refer to myself? Would that be considered 2nd person? 4th person? Did some reading, and everything on this seems to center around pronouns, but I referred to myself by name.

AH HA!

Illeism

So yeah...3rd person

I guess in order to refer to yourself in the 4th person, you need both 1st and 3rd person. Wait…didn’t I do that? I used both “Cade” and “he”.

^Jump – Funkatarium^

How long until Trump spins his anti-e-cig/fake news crap as a trap. That’s what I’m wondering. Like, some kind of double-cross to “expose” fake news sources…

maybe?

Was reading Leg Iron’s latest post, and it really got me to thinking that PT will likely spin it. He’ll have to, assuming the “fake news” angle actually sticks. Where in the fuck did this vaping legislation even come from? Talk about coming from left-field, I woulda been less shocked if to hear that the President was introducing legislation that limited the number of toilet paper sheets citizens could use when wiping their butts. Not to mention, the limited reading that I’ve done is indicative that this is a regional problem. Meaning, the state in question should deal with it, not the Federal government. Something else is going on here, and I don’t think it has anything to do with THC, black market products or even vaping.

^Front 242 – Happiness (Dance Mix By Underworld)^

Kind of a holdover thought from the previous missive, but have you ever been somewhat submerged in water, had something float up next to you, you tried to push it away, and it winds up floating even closer to you? Or you try and pick it up from underneath the water, but it runs away from your hand? Or you try and distance your entire body from it, but it follows you? That’s kinda what I was thinking with respect to a body moving through a space, how to identify other bodies, and how to know how to react to those bodies without becoming unnecessarily entangled with those bodies because of your actions. I was thinking more about inorganic kinds of things, but these concepts aren’t much different in a lot of cases than dealing with organics. Like swatting at a wasp is likely to just irritate the fuck out of it. Same could be said of a leaf in a pool of water.

Less-destructive/non-destructive travel

That’s what I’m thinking of. To relate, the reason that supersonic travel is out, is because it’s destructive as hell. Commercial passenger parabolic space travel isn’t going to be much better. To relate even further, I just looked up some figures for SpaceX’s Falcon rockets.

For Falcon 9: 156.1 ± 4.9 dB (unweighted) at 125 ft.

For Falcon Heavy: 160.9 ± 4.9 dB (unweighted) at 125 ft.

Now, to put that in perspective. Like, those numbers… they need some perspective. Wanna come along?

It's gonna get loud
^Finitribe ‘We Have Come’^

As you can see, @ 156.1 and 160.9 decibels, the Falcon 9 and Falcon 9 Heavy rockets are hip deep in the intolerable pool. I think a shotgun blast is around 140 decibels, most commercial aircraft are around 130 decibels, and anything around those numbers and above is where the pain thresholds lay. So if we’re gonna have commercial parabolic space travel carting your tubby ass from Dallas to London in 30 minutes, let’s see what the locals are going to have to deal with.

Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport is the world’s fourth busiest airport, offering nearly 1850 flights per day and serving 64 million passengers a year.’

Source = Google – 12 September 2019 @16:22

Now, at 1,850 flights per day for a single airport (D/FW), we kinda need to know what the average passenger load for commercial aircraft is.

What is the average amount of passengers on a plane?

Those numbers look reasonable to me, and it’s something we really need to consider seeing as how, currently, rockets can’t even carry a single person, let alone hundreds. But to be fair, parabolic space flight is likely not the smartest of options for someone traveling from Dallas to Austin or even Dallas to New York. It’s unlikely that 1,850 rockets are going to be blasting off from D/FW each day, so let’s get a bead on the number of international flights that leave from the Metroplex.

Overall, DFW Airport has service to 223 destinations, including 56 international and 167 destinations within the United States. Fifteen of the 27 passenger airlines that serve DFW are foreign-flagged, and 12 are domestic.’

Source = Google – 12 September 2019 @ 16:27

That doesn’t tell us much, but some further reading implies that there are 30 flights per week from D/FW to London area airports, which means an average of 4.2 flights per day.

Q: Could we handle 4 rocket launches per day in this area?

A: ???

No idea, and that’s only the London service. Glass sales are going to go through the fucking roof.

^Skinny Puppy – Tin Omen^

What is the cost effectiveness of devising a system for aircraft that could avoid a bird? What about a system that could avoid an insect? Is that overkill? Altering the course of a 200/300 ton jet just to avoid a mosquito? Especially a mosquito.

Those things suck
^A Split Second – Flesh (Full 12″ Version) (Official video)^

Maybe there’s a balance in the quanta that we are missing. Some something in the ether that knows when and where we are being sloppy as fuck, and maybe where we need to improve in certain areas in order to advance in other areas. Like say… oh, I dunno… maybe in order to increase a certain medical treatment from 30.6% effectiveness to 45.9% effectiveness, all it takes is a reduction of 5% in the number of plants killed by herbicides. That energy has to come from somewhere right? It’s gotta go somewhere too, and there has to be some kind of sustainable something to get it there.

^symphonix – everything you want^

How much of a reduction in life you figure it takes before there’s an implication that life is no longer needed and/or no longer wanted here on our planet. You think it possible that there are solar/galactic/universal audit trails? If so, prolly going to be a lot more audit trails nested in there. Almost like Synthetic CDO’s that are based upon and travel from to and through some base structures. Damn, that sounds like a logistical nightmare. Boy…I sure hope there are some folks thinking in streams like these. Our administration costs could skyrocket if we aren’t somewhat prepared for administratives like that.

Synthetic CDO

For anyone so inclined to wander
^A SPLIT SECOND – MAMBO WITCH (EXTENDED VERSION) 1988^

Joining the galactic community sounds expensive.

Of course, I hear joining the EU is pretty goddamn expensive too.

Apparently, leaving the EU is pretty goddamn expensive as well.

^Story of an Artist by Daniel Johnston^

Hey, Greenpeace! You guys/gals have paid positions?

I know a guy who is looking for work. He’s OK with heights and types @ 40 wpm.

I had to sort through missives 001 through 081 to find that formatting. Dunno why I thought there was more to it than that. Oh well, was kinda fun to scan some of the older writings. I’ve discovered that I am somewhat…wordy.

*gasp*
^Anne Clark – Our Darkness^

Speaking of being wordy, ever heard of this?

Neurasthenia

Me either. Damn interesting tho. Sounds like Van Deusen and Beard were at odds as to exactly what the root cause of this condition was, but it seems they were in agreement that it was related to some kind of detachment or dissociative something. REALLY interesting that it was associated with “anyone who lives within the monetary system” and also a “culture-bound syndrome”. No fucking wonder the condition has been deprecated, redacted and/or relegated to the footnotes. Can’t have people thinking that society and/or monetary systems can make you sick. This was all going on in the big fucking middle of the Industrial Revolution too. Ya think maybe people were lamenting days gone by? Developing a hate for the future via a really fucking nasty and confusing present?

Nah. Unpossible
^Killing Joke – Eighties^

Are you fucking shitting me?

Google Says a Change in Its Algorithm Will Highlight ‘Original Reporting’

First Trump appears to kowtow to fake news, and not a day later, Google is changing their algorithm to give precedence to “whoever gets there first”? Are you really trying to tell me that news reporting agencies and media groups aren’t completely inundated with moles and informers who get paid to steal stories/information prior to publication so the competition can scoop them? Not only that, did Google really just throw it’s hat into the peer-reviewed and/or authentication/validation ring? Whoever appears first in the results is authentic/genuine?

Fuckin-a…and I thought I was an idiot for spending my days pondering time-travel and teleportation. You guys are fucking morons. Of course, thinking about it now, there is a flip side. Anyone engaging in journalistic thievery are going to somewhat expose themselves by rushing to print and trying to beat everyone else to publication so that Google will boost them in the rankings. It’ll take some time for all that to shake out tho. Could be a lot of heads roll. I take my earlier thoughts back Google. Well played.

(maybe)
^Nothing in the Sun – Ceremony^

Thinking about that now, there is another downside tho. This could potentially give basically “data monopolies” to certain publishers. I write about all kinds of stuff that I hear in “the news”. Am I no longer allowed to write about it? This kinda smacks of broadcast news back in the 1970s and maybe 1980s. You get the story, or you don’t. If you beat the competition to a story? They may not bother reporting on the story at all.

But yeah, I’m wondering as to what exactly will constitute “originality” within the scope of specific events. Not only that, but how are you going to handle those common courtesy types of references. Like, where USA Today will start off a story with “The New York Times is reporting that…”? Especially when the story devolves to “But CNN has reported that…”.

How you gonna handle shit like that?

In cases like that, the story has become the story itself and the stories themselves, and an entirely new story has emerged as a result of the original reporting on…whatever in the fuck they’re reporting on. Anyway, I would think a purveyor of information (Google) is not going to be able to retain your illusory image of non-bias with a change like this. May as well go ahead an clutter up the empty space on that main Google page with paid advertisements and other bullshit. The cloak of your plain-covered wrapper advertising an unbiased Google is completely blown.

^Belouis Some – Imagination (Official Video) (HD)^

Maybe someone is simply missing their monopolies?

Seeking that olden fyre of yore.

Thing is…was that monopoly ever yours?

Or did you just read about it.

Is “olden” and “yore” in the same sentence…overkill?

Redundant?

Even if I’m purposely attempting to be ironic and/or overly expressive and excessive?

^Saint Etienne – You’re In A Bad Way (Video)^

Much pee pee needs to come out of me.

brb

K…I’m back. I was washing my hands seeing as how I touched my small and filthy penis, and made the mistake of looking in the mirror whilst I swashed my mitts. As I looked at myself, I got to wondering if there are some better glasses frames out there for me. Maybe these black horn-rimmed glasses aren’t the best for a face like mine.

A face like mine

What kind of eyewear would best compliment a face like mine. The only thing that I could come up with that might better compliment my face, is a welding mask. I wonder if they make those welding masks with a prescription-strength glass.

^The Cure – Lullaby (Official Music Video)^

Impossible. Teleportation is impossible. The complete disassembly and reassembly of a lifeform is impossible. There’s no precedent…there are no precedents. There are no models…there’s nothing but science fiction and fantasy.

I agree with you on all counts

On all counts, I agree with you wholeheartedly.

^Billy Idol- Flesh for Fantasy (lyric video)^

Sometimes, there just isn’t enough to talk about in order to accommodate all the images I stumble across. I am wondering how your week was.

Yeah...you

How the fuck are you? All of this bullshit is pointless without you, and I have a concern for your well-being. Kind of a passive concern, also a clueless concern, but a concern nonetheless. Been watching a lot of compilation videos lately of road ragers, and you are likely out in that mess day after day. Gotta be rough. Seems like the slightest of things will set someone off, and mistakes on the roadways are strictly taboo. No margins for error. No margins at all based on what I’ve been seeing. I wonder if there are people who get in their cars or on the motorcycles or whatever, and get out on the roadways for the specific purpose of finding someone to get pissed off at.

May wanna keep an eye out for pricks like that
^Lords Of Acid – Take Control^

Speaking of these videos that I’ve been watching, some of the “UK Road Rage” videos are pretty funny, some are downright depressing, but there seems to be an overall theme as to establishing who is right/wrong in a given situation. Like, actively pursuing justice in real time. No court, no judge, no jury, no law…have this out, right fucking here, right fucking now.

This isn’t endemic to just and only the UK, but on watching these videos, I woulda assumed that British drivers would be a tad more friendly, and MUCH more forgiving than drivers in America. Small roads, narrow roads, close quarters, lots of twists and turns, lots of intercepts and crossings, few lanes, and MANY more types of vehicles operating in the same environment, not mention lots of pedestrians. Seems like you’d almost have to be a friendly and forgiving person to survive in such an environment.

That appears to not be the case. What really stands out tho? The curses. I’ve watched enough of these vids now to kinda get the feeling that the first word(s) out of a driver’s mouth on the video is indicative of where that person is from.

Bellend

Upon watching vid after vid, trends began to appear. I could only assume that people from a certain area have more of a propensity to respond a certain way, or call someone a certain something, based on the regional dialect. “Bellend” was the one that kinda got me to thinking, as it appeared that maybe people in the northern regions were more apt to use this word first. Not that I am an expert in British accents, but I do try and keep my ears open/be mindful of them. Was also kinda surprised that the use of “bollocks” is rare in these vids. Did hear it a few times tho. Anyway, just thought that language thing was kinda interesting.

^Deadmau5 + Kaskade – Move For Me [Extended Mix] (1080p) || HD^

Oooooh!!!! I fucking LIKE that one. Wanna see what it looks like at a faster speed? Me too, but I’m not gonna add it here. You wanna speed it up yourself? Right click the link, copy image address, go here, paste the link address in the box, upload the image, and tinker with the speeds to your heart’s content. I’m gonna warn you in advance tho, that one does not speed up well. Speed seemed to cap for me at about 1000%. I’m sure an image with less frames would do better, and at 120 frames total, that image is a shade beefy.

Which reminds me, anyone else notice all the “asteroid” and “asteroid close approach” news lately? It’s been almost daily for several weeks now. Is someone trying to tell us in a roundabout way that some new NEO tracking system has come online and it’s now not only being used, but being used to great effect? If so, I can only imagine how much bad news is ahead, and not just and only the operating costs. Guess I could search for press releases regarding any new tracking systems, but it just seems weird that some new asteroid is in the news almost every goddamn day.

Weird things are strange
^OMC – How Bizarre^

Is it just me? Or do we have a discrepancy between this and this?

Thought maybe I’d be clever and see if there was a song named 137, or maybe a song centered around 137, but found those tones instead. Listened to the first to see how clear it was, then checked the second to see how clear it was, and immediately noticed there was a discrepancy between the two. Wanna see how bad it is? Do this:

  • Open the first video in one tab, pause it, then open the second video in a second tab and pause it as well.
  • Once you have both vids open, start playing the first vid, pop over to the other tab and start playing the second vid.
  • You should hear some oscillation with both vids playing at the same time.

If you wanna play further, open that second link in a tab, then open this in another tab. You’ll get a similar oscillation, but it’ll be different because one is a sine wave, and the other is a square wave, whereas the first two were both sine waves.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a book that contains everything you need to know about life, but not need this particular book?

Wouldn’t it be great to have a book that contains the answer to every question you might ever have, but not need this particular book?

Was just pondering the concept of “social ills”, and it occurred to me that being respecters of privacy is a biggie. We are given a choice whether or not to respect someone else’s privacy, and the choice(s) we make in this regard could be considered “seeds of discord” or “seeds of harmony”.

^Arcade Fire – Sprawl II (Soulwax Remix)^

“Pondering the concept of social ills” is something that I personally would consider as “sowing seeds of discord” because I’m gonna have to stick my nose in society’s business in order to figure out what is wrong. I’m then going to have to tell someone what I think is wrong. I may do so before reflecting and evaluating how I personally contribute to this “ill” in my own life, and that almost assures a twisted tree will grow from this seed of my being nosy.

Sow the seeds of (something)

An idiom, eh? Do I use those a lot in my writing?

‘with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord’

Proverbs 6:14 (ESV)

All of Proverbs 6 kinda talks about how to not be a respecter of others’ privacy, and what you should do in the event you do stick your schnoz somewhere it does not belong. But where all of this started was by actually contemplating Rome and wondering why it is always made out to be this hideous place full of blood-thirsty debauchees. I look at the architecture(s) and infrastructure(s) and wonder…welp, if all the Romans were doing was partying and fucking, how in the hell did all that shit get built? How in the hell did they get anything at all done? Is it because Rome “collapsed” that it is looked upon as a shithole that died because it was a twisted and perverted society that choked on its own vomit? Or maybe even choked on someone else’s vomit? And yeah, that can apparently happen, and there’s no way of knowing who’s vomit it is.

Maybe the Romans contracted out all the construction work, and the Romans themselves kicked back and partied during the construction period.

/me shrugs
^Klaxons – Gravity’s Rainbow (Soulwax Remix)^

I started this thing back on August 19th. Today is September 4th. What in the fuck have I been doing for the past 2+ weeks?

The short answer is “not much”

Is output indicative of effort? Lemme splain a bit. Ya see, when I started this here missive, I was coming off of a Jordan Peterson bender, had a lot of thoughts on the things discussed, somehow wound up in the book of Proverbs…and that’s where it all went wrong. Ya see, if you identify as a female, Proverbs is likely not the book for you. There is all kinds of good stuff in Proverbs, but you’re gonna have to get through a lot of references to whores, loose women, and weaponized female genitalia in order to get to that good stuff. I’ve nothing against women nor your delicate pretties, but basically, I tripped myself up a bit by starting to dig in Proverbs because of some…lets just say, “bad personal experiences of my own” with respect to this particular book in the Bible. A lot of bad memories came flooding back, so I stopped.

^Club Des Belugas – The Beat Is Rhythm^

Ya know the one commonality that all political parties seem to share?

They want it all

Kinda ironic that the one trait all parties/groups seem to share is that they want to share nothing. I guess that’s why it’s really no surprise to me that so many lefties have a strange liking for President Trump. He’s somewhat of an outsider with respect to Republicans, therefore, he’s someone that can be leveraged. He’s a political paper towel.

 Single use and disposable

A something operating under the banner of the opposition that can be used to cripple that opposition. Wait…cripple? Why would you ever want to cripple someone or some thing? Prolly shouldn’t have to look far to answer that question.

Digress
^Emmanuelle – Italove – DEEWE015^

So yeah, your political party or group or whatever, wants everything you want, everything your way, and you want anyone who opposes you, or is different from you, to have nothing.

But we’re talking about government(s), so were’ talking about commerce, and not much else. Does it make sense to eliminate your opposition? A battery requires both positive and negative charges in order to function properly, and those neutral thingies get ignored completely, even tho I’m pretty sure they are required as well. So for me and my journey, I’m right fucking back to thinking about that automatonic group where the individual is nullified. Wait…isn’t that the same principle that the Nipponic interests once took? Allegiance to the Emperor, only the Emperor, and you have to die in order to prove that allegiance.

Hrm...
^The Chemical Brothers – The Test (Official Music Video)^

Rambled a bit there, and you can’t see inside my head, but all I could think about in that previous bit was “a necessity for tertiary allegiance”. Like, for the self. For the self to be ebullient, vibrant, and full of vitality and verve, you gotta have options. Attack, defend, stand your ground. Wait… is it possible that a Neutron, Electron or Proton behaves differently in a Democrat than in a Republican? Like, can particles…themselves…mutate?

DUH! Of course they can

I think I may be thinking about this all wrong. I’ve gotten entirely too “Yin/Yang” in my thinking about Electrons and Protons, which means my thinking about Neutrons is all wrong as well. How did I miss that? The Neutrons in my models have at least two modes of “neutral”, so why wouldn’t Protons and Electrons, and even other particles, also be modal? Attack, defend, stand your ground/ignore entirely.

Colors? Colors are potentially indicative of modes of modals? I’ve also got to consider speed(s), distance(s) and vectors. Something blue from one angle could appear blue-green from another. Puts a whole new spin on ranging and approaches/departures, especially at certain velocities. Not to mention that even the unaries are going to be mutative.

Interesting

Estimating specific subatomic approaches. Jesus, have we really gotten that smart? Or did we just stumble across it thanks to our brute-force methodologies.

/shrug
^LCD Soundsytem – You Wanted A Hit (Soulwax remix) High Quality^

Calculating the probability/probabilities of deviation based on the approach/departure and/or proximity of influence could be a bear. Gives whole new meaning to the concept of “back away slowly”. I’m thinking primarily about entanglement(s) there. Especially when considering the “deceptive” practices employed by things like viruses. Something models that behavior/ability, and to think that it could not be employed by inorganic or less-organic matter is prolly going to be a mistake. I mean fuck, Pyrite exists…right?

Can you imagine homing in on a signal that you thought was Helium-3, only to discover that the source was actually Lead? What you are using that Helium-3 for, and when you discover your mistake could weigh heavily on any outcome.

(no pun intended)

Gotta take “lensing” types of distortions into consideration as well. At speed, one could easily wind up in position you don’t want to be in, and fast.

^Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble – Couldn’t Stand the Weather (Video)^

OK, you’re likely wondering what I’m on about here, and I’m thinking about the identification and tracking of atoms, at distance(s), and at speed(s). I’m also thinking about the ranging types of information that need to be taken into consideration in “the void(s) of space”. If you are on the moon, and trying to collect Helium-3 atom by atom so as to reduce the “bycatch” types of chaff in the harvest, you’re prolly going to have to think in ways that are less on the human scale. Or at least, be more scalar in your thinking between the human and Helium-3 atom scales.

Also, if you are blazing through the Universe in a spaceship at C * 71, you’re going to need to be able to quickly and accurately identify matter off your nose in the direction(s) of travel. You’re also going to want to be able to quickly and accurately identify matter that is on intercepting or overtaking trajectories. Not to mention, that the further you travel at those speeds, the more likely you are to start trailing some stuff. We’re not talking about an aircraft traveling in a somewhat stable atmosphere, we’re talking about a spaceship traveling in more or less a vacuum, and this “space” and these “spaces” are likely to have both stable and unstable properties, as we negotiate and traverse membranes and pockets of all kinds.

That’s what I’m thinking about here, but I’m trying to keep my thinking both here and there at the same time.

By the way…

C * 71 = 21,285,264,518 m/s

Yep, that’s 21+ billion

with a “B”

…meters per second.

That equates to 47,613,780,686.29 miles per hour.

Or, 13,226,050.19 miles per second…

if you prefer

At that speed, you could travel from Earth to Mars in 18.82 seconds. And that’s when Earth and Mars are in opposition and both planets are at aphelion.

^Another World^

Not thinking just an only in terms of interstellar travel. Thinking about all kinds of applications. Being able to identify and track a single atom or even smaller particles within the “chaos” of non-controlled and/or less-controlled environments? Woah Nelly! That’d be something. I keep wondering tho…

^Propellerheads — Take California^

A little over 3,000 people die in car accidents every day. The city that I live in has 142,816 people according to the 2018 census. If 3,000 people died in this city every day, it would take a little over 47 days for them all to die. Now, my thinking here is distribution of wealth…

so to speak

As long as these numbers are onesie-twosie types of deaths that are spread out over large areas, we tend to just shake our heads and shrug. But if your entire neighborhood and a huge chunk of the area in which you live disappeared in the span of a day, maybe that’s why “mass shootings”, “disease outbreaks”, “disasters” and similar are (apparently) such shocking concepts?

I’m gonna digress, because that’s not really where I was going.

‘Nearly 1.25 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287 deaths a day. An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled. More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among young adults ages 15-44.’

– Source: Google, 06 September 2019

OK, so, at 3,287 deaths per day, you could wipe out my city in 43 days instead of the aforementioned 47+ days. That aggregate adds up, and we just shaved almost a week off a bunch of people’s lives…

let's keep going

Texas Cities by Population

#522 on that list is Winnsboro, they have exactly 3,287 residents living there, and that’s exactly the average killed per day in “road crashes” according to Google and I guess W.H.O. Sorry Winnsboro, but we’re gonna have to temporarily change your name to Loseboro since you drew the short stick in the galactic lotto.

There are 1,435 entries on that list, and 914 of those entries are at 3,287 residents or less. There are 1,711 cities in total and some of those are combined with other cities on the list, so it’s prolly safe to say that there are at least 1,000 cities on that list that could be easily wiped out in the span of a day if all “road crashes” were to occur in just one place.

Where am I going with this?

I dunno. Just wondering aloud a bit as to the justification(s) of statistical data. Will you personally tolerate 3,287 people dying per day of West Nile Virus, Cholera or some other disease? More than that, would you tolerate these numbers if they were happening in your own neck of the woods?

It’s no longer September 4th…it’s now Thursday 12 September. This is the longest it’s ever taken me to write one of these things for Roob.

I'm not sure how to feel about that

Spent some time getting my own blog in order this week, but I’ve still got 5 drafts sitting there staring me in the face. One requires that I rewatch the Brexit Movie, so I can’t finish that fucker until I rewatch the damn thing. Another is one that I’ve been chewing on for well over 2 years. Not sure what this has to do with this whatever that I am currently writing, other than this thing here really doesn’t feel too “missivey”. I’ve gotten too goddamn wordy. I thought about doing a a Random Wikipedia Attack, and I really want to do one, but I’m not gonna. Not here anyway. I do have another “missive” to write today tho. I need to get #137 to Roob before I go to bed tonight.

What's say we get to it!

Lashed To River Rocks

LAST TIME 1

Dear Reader, after being blown away by Jordan Peterson’s psychoanalysis of the animated movie Pinocchio last weekend, I persuaded Text US buddy, Cade, to remote viewing the good Doctor’s biblical stories lectures with me this week. It’s quite an undertaking as each of the talks we’ve listen to so far have been quite lengthy and thought provoking…

Frasier intense

*And completely fucking intense, yes! …/lights up… Although you know, Clicky… /drags…Frasier Crane was more Freudian… /streams smoke… Peterson is more Jungian like his brother Niles…*

*Jung, hung and de Niles? …/smokes… Huh…*

… Then on Friday, I saw that LoL fav, John Lamb Lash, had a new talk out. Lashy has a completely different take on the origins of humanity, to the Bible’s, but cites many of the same influences on this thinking as Jordan Peterson does in his lectures…

‘The case for awe is also a case for humility. “Remain true to the earth,” Zarathustra implored. To stand in naked awareness in the presence of the earth, in silent knowing – this is awesome. Intimacy with the planet keeps us wild, undomesticated, unwilling to submit to social conditioning. In “On Reading and Writing,” Nietzsche wrote: “Untroubled, scornful, outrageous – that is how wisdom wants us to be.” Sophia (wisdom) loves those who preserve and protect her ways, women and men alike, warriors in the line of beauty. It could be objected that my obvious Nietzschean scorn for certain religious ideas compromises my judgment. But I am not the first to assert that religion (i.e., doctrine, rite, institution) is the enemy of genuine religious experience. C. G. Jung, Aldous Huxley, H. L. Mencken, Barbara Walker, and many others have made this observation, but no one has carried it through and backed up the argument in the way I do here.

‘It could also be objected that any expression of hatred is unacceptable in a book that purports to present spiritual values. I would reply that there is plenty of hatred circulating on this planet, and most of it seems to be coming from people who are devoutly religious. If humanity is filled with hatred, my personal share might act like a homeopathic dose against the general infection. I do not categorically reject hatred, or deny it a humane value. I hate a good many things: the rape of the earth, child abuse, sexual apartheid, the exploitation of youth, lies and hypocrisy, bad
literature, the consumer trance. This is my shortlist. But most of all I hate the enslavement and manipulation of the human spirit by false and perverted beliefs disguised in religious ideals and ethics. Hatred is an inevitable part of the human horror on this planet, but it can also be part of the cure. As Paracelsus said, the cure is in the dose.’

Sophia speaks

*To be fair, Clicky, humans are incredibly complex creatures… /taps ash… It takes a degree of sophistication to appreciate them…*

… So I listened to Lashy’s talk…

… Which was immediately followed by a most incredible ‘sync’ – news of humanity’s place of origin, according to Lashy, had broken in the media…

‘So far, there are several theories.

‘”Maybe more gas is falling into the black hole and that leads to higher amounts of accretion, which leads to it being brighter,” Do told a science publication.

‘There’s also the possibility that the black hole consumed a nearby gas cloud that had been documented nearby in 2014.’

*Whoa! That film is 75 years old?*

sophia explains

*/pmsl…*

… So it’s been a weirdly intense week, and no doubt next week will be equally as intense as I’ll be on hols, writing a tale of horror for Underdog Anthology IX. I have the title and a story idea, now all I have to do is write the bloody thing…

sophia speaks again

*Okay, Clicky… /stubs butt…*

Doo enjoy what’s left of your we-kenned, Dear Reader, and, as always, have a Song… 😉

*******

I am in a moving daze.

I guess I shouldn’t be nervous about moving, but I am.

Moving day is fast approaching.

And no, your eyes are not deceiving you in that image above, nor is it taking forever to load. Getting used to “smooth stuff”, then seeing something “less smooth”, can really fuck with your perception(s), eh?

^Better Off Alone^

We get destroyed because we refuse knowledge. That’s something the following video espouses. In a world where there is loads of hidden knowledge and/or knowledge that I’m told not to seek, I’m ultimately going to get the deep-six for not being more knowledgeable.

And what about all the fucks that intentionally keep knowledge secret? I’m not talking about who you are fucking, your annual income or what your FICO score is, but these bits of information that are tucked away in secure locations specifically for the purpose of keeping people in the dark and/or retaining power for themselves and their organization(s).

Which speaking of fucking, income and FICO scores, what are the odds that there are those who know those things about me? I’m not suggesting that I’m getting laid (because I’m not), nor that I have any money (I don’t), but I do have a FICO score.

Anyway, this doc is kinda dumb, it’s all “rah rah” about something or another but I’m not sure as to what, and I had to turn it off @ 21:21.

^THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOREVER TIME:#7 THE GOD KNOWLEDGE^

With that bullshit in mind…

Q: What is the first thing that people do with knowledge?

A: This little light of mine? I'm gonna let it shine?

Nope…straight to the bushel to hide that shit before someone tries to steal it and/or extinguish it. But before we get into copyrights and patents, franchising rights, ancillary rights, corporate espionage and all those wonderful financial perks, let’s get practical. If you suddenly know “the answer to life the universe and everything”, what in the hell are you to do with it?

It’s gonna take some time to figure that out, so burying your new found knowledge may be a matter of practicality more than anything else. After all, knowing how to melt lead isn’t really that big of a deal, especially when compared to the concept of removing melted lead from your face because some asshole dropped water into the crucible full of melted lead, which instantly caused the water to evaporate/become steam, which created an explosion that blew hot melted lead in your face.

Didn't think of that even being a possibility, did ya?

So yeah, the difference between knowledge and wisdom is…time? Application(s)? Experience(s)?

^This Little Light of Mine Lyrics : Christian Hymns with Lyrics^

Yes, the story about the melted lead + water comes from real life. One day at school, I just so happened to be standing right next to a lead-melter, when a guy walks up and drops an unmelted piece of lead into the crucible, and this unmelted piece of lead had just been washed but not dried, so it had water on it. The water immediately turned to steam, this created a huge steam-bubble in the lead, and the whole mess exploded. One guy got melted lead on his face, one of my welding gloves got hot lead all over it, another guy got it on his arm and shirt, and the ceiling was covered in lead. BTW, the ceilings in this room were about 15 feet high, so this explosion was quite energetic. Who would have ever thought that a few drops of water could explode several pounds of melted lead? What’s that? You see no correlation in knowing everything and practical application(s) and/or actualizations in a causal universe?

^Jay Lumen – Babel (Original Mix)^

This is kinda strange…

Now, that caught my eye because I immediately empathized with being in pain and feeling like a criminal for taking medication for it. Some of the pharmacies/pharmacists here in the US used to treat me like I was a criminal for being in a pain management program. You take your prescription in to the pharmacy, they see the medication your prescription is for, their face goes cold, they have to “check and see if they have any in stock” and many times say they don’t, even when they do have your medication, then they have to do 80 checks and verifications…

it's a totally humiliating experience

I think that was the point tho’: make the process of filling certain prescriptions non-cost effective + make the patient feel like complete and total shit. Anyway, if you’re smoking grass for pain, I can empathize. But what’s all this business about “Oklebueha N.A.C.” and membership?

 Sounds...native

Oklevueha NAC death toll

Rut roh!!! I get the feeling this is not about cannabis, and what in the fuck is the Cult Education Institute? Why is someone going to a doctor, to get medicine, from a church? I’m totally lost here. Is Uncle Sam not getting a cut or something? Getting grass from a doctor because it’s part of a church ritual?

/shrug
^Astrix & Avalon – Moonshine^

What is really strange to me  is where I started (empathy), and where I wound up (confusion). I mean, don’t most churches usually provide what you need for a particular service or sacrament or whatever.

Oklevueha Native American Church

OK…so…um…some dudes were tripping balls on peyote, and one dude gave another “permission” to “take peyote to the white man”? Yeah, I can see why some may see this “church” as being sketchy as fuck. There’s even a picture of some hand-scrawled note? Seems to me that you either got the juice, or you don’t. Can a Sioux Blessing be retracted? Surely there’s a caveat there in the event whitey gets out of control and starts acting a fool? White people are known for that kind of behavior after all.

^Saltwater (Original) by Chicane^

When I went to a Christian private school in 7th and 8th grade, one of the requirements of attending this school was that you be a member of a church and attend regularly. So in order to be in one group, you also had to be a member of another group. Lose your affiliation with one group, lose your affiliation with the other. So when my parents stopped going to church during my 8th grade year, I was in a bit of a quandary. This quandary was made even worse when my mother got a job playing the piano at a Methodist church. I started attending this church so that I could keep going to school. Problem was, there was a caveat. Ya see, this school I went to was a “Christian” school…

meaning, Baptist

There was some controversy regarding whether or not my attending a Methodist church actually counted as “active attendance in a church”, and the administration actively encouraged me to find a good, wholesome Christian church to attend since my soul was in jeopardy.

^Boney M – Rasputin 2017 Blue Remix^

I know, I know, as a Baptist, once you are saved you are saved forever and ever, and your soul can never again be in jeopardy. Baptists believe that Salvation is a gift that is given freely, accepted freely, and once obtained, it cannot be lost…

but there's a catch

Ya see, if you are really saved, like for really-real all the way saved, you won’t backslide or wander off the path because a saved soul will not depart from the path of Jesus. If you are saved, you will never drink beer, and more than that you will never even have an urge to drink beer. As such, if you want to drink a beer, you may not actually be saved, and if you actually drink a beer, you are most definitely not saved and you’d better get saved before you turn into a lush. You are passively taught to constantly question your salvation, even tho you are actively taught to NEVER EVAR question your salvation.

 Weird, eh? Digress
^Reeson – Anubis (original mix)^

What I’m primarily thinking about here is membership being requisite for membership. Being able to join one group only because you are a member of another group. Professionals. How the fuck do you get your foot in the door? Join a group.

Q: What organizations did Jesus belong to?

A: ?ó¿ó?

To be fair, he was number 13 (or number 1 depending on how you look at it) in a gaggle of miscreants that wandered around getting into trouble, so I guess that kinda counts as a group. Guess it only makes sense that we’d form our own groups based on that original group, and we do so in order to try and recapture that magic the original group produced. Kinda weird to think that a copycat anything would produce the same magic as an original group or original idea. In fact, it almost sounds counter-intuitive when you think about it.

^Skazi & Paranormal Attack – Opa (Official Audio)^

Ever heard of a television series called “Another Life”? Just saw someone talking about it on a forum, and they mentioned that in the very first episode of the series, there is “a male crew member on a space ship wearing stiletto  heels”. They then went on to rant about producers pandering to certain viewing demographics, and I cannot help but agree that stiletto heels on a space ship seems quite impractical. I mean sure, the character Klinger on the show M*A*S*H was cross-dressing in a war zone, but that was a comedy, so it was OK. A dude wearing “women’s footware” on a spaceship in a serious drama is just…fucked up.

*Triggered*

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

<yawn>

Wait, is this show even a drama? Does that matter?

^A normal day in Russia…^

‘Tis now Saturday morning, and I find it odd that I stumbled into a bunch of controversy last night regarding…groups. Mainly groups and the power(s) they wield. Shouldn’t be shocking tho, because isn’t that the point of groups? To wield power? Use that power against your foes?

In this case, it’s centered around some dude who may have stumbled onto a cure for cancer, and the battle that ensued as a result of this find. It would appear that there are those who aren’t real happy about their infrastructure(s) around cancer crumbling, and they also want a piece of this cancerous pie. Who in the FUCK would want a piece of cancer?

Food and Drug Administration

BTW, do not believe anything in that Wikipedia article, as all Wikipedia articles are fake and/or full of disinformation. That’s what I’ve been told anyway.

Burzynski Clinic

That’s where a lot of the controversy seems to start, and that rather dubious sounding Wikipedia page is only scratching the surface. There’s also a pretty good documentary on this dude, his practice, and what he’s been through, but I’ll let Roob add that somewhere if she so desires.

^Blastoyz – Mandala^

If you want to be somewhere, and where you currently at is not that somewhere you want to be, could it be said that your being in the one place you don’t want to be, is in fact the best starting point for you getting to where you do want to be?

That’s why I use Wikipedia articles, and have no plans to stop using them. Yes, Wikipedia itself is full of shitbirds and hacks who have their own agendas. But how is this different from anywhere else? Are you really trying to tell me that The Washington Post isn’t full of people who are on multiple payrolls? The Guardian? Pravda? China Daily? Hell, the news organizations themselves are on multiple payrolls via advertisers and special interest groups of all kinds, so why in the fuck wouldn’t their employees follow suit and rent out their services to the highest bidder(s)? Anyway, being in a bad place might sometimes help you get to where it is you want to be.

The only reason I can see groups wanting to be “the source” would be distributive in nature. You really don’t care what you are selling, you just want to be selling it. You want to be the place that people come to move merchandise, and you get a piece of everything.

A: Is "why do people want" a better question?

Maybe answering a chain of questions will give you the answer to the answer to life the universe and everything. Once you’ve arrived at your own personal “42”…

A: ???

This was going to originally be a blog post on my own blog, but circumstances have arisen to change that. I’m only mentioning this because the above may be a travesty for Roob to deal with since I didn’t write it with her in mind.

Meh, she'll tame the fuck out of it I'm sure

Good luck Roob, and God be with you in your editorial efforts.

Oh, and this is blog post #135 I’ve written for The LoL. Too bad it wasn’t #137 – the number 137 has been appearing a lot over the past week or so.

On The Lash: Missus Flair

‘As the scaffolding of the planetary system arises, a newborn star emerges from the nebula where the Anthropos is embedded. Owing to its superior mass, the star causes the emergent planetary system to cohere around it. It becomes the central sun of the Archontic heaven, a realm of celestial mechanics dominated by blind, inorganic forces.

‘Sophia shames the Demiurge by declaring to him that the Anthropos, though yet unborn, surpasses the Archons in intelligence, for humanity is an emanation of the Pleroma, whereas the Archons arise outside the cosmic core, without an act of emanation. Witnessing this reprimand, and shocked by the arrogance of the Demiurge, the newborn star undergoes a conversion: it chooses to align with Sophia against the realm of Archontic forces, i.e., the inorganic planetary field.

‘The fallen goddess recognizes this choice and produces from herself a daughter in her own likeness, the life force Zoe, who unites with the sun, the mother star of the planetary system.’

Apparently, Dear Reader, solar and lunar events are imminent…

…Firstly, there will be a Black Supermoon tomorrow…

… And secondly, a rather particular storm is coming…

‘An absolutely massive hole has formed in the upper atmosphere of the Sun, and our planet will align with that hole later this week.  Once the alignment happens, Earth will be bombarded by a “solar storm”, and nobody is quite sure yet how bad it will be.  If the storm is relatively minor, we could just experience a few disruptions to satellite communications and see some pretty lights in the sky.

‘But if the storm is really severe, our electrical grid could be fried and we could experience widespread power outages.  According to the Express, “the solar storm will hit Earth on July 31 or August 1″…’

WHAT AM I DOING HERE?

We seem to spend a good portion of our lives trying to be found.

WHERE IS EVERYONE?

We also seem to spend a good portion of our lives telling others to go away.

WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE?

Very strange indeed, eh?

Now that you’ve read that, I need you to stop reading this, go read the rest of this, then fuck off.

^Slow Motion! Hot Light – Dynamite (Original Mix)^

Howdy. I have nothing clever or earth-shattering to say for an opening, so lets us jump right in.

What is hallucinogen-persisting perception disorder?

That begs questions as to the nature of any and all experiences that we as humans can have. Especially the extraordinary experiences that are not drug induced/drug related. Those experiences which are traumatic or exhilarating could leave some lasting marks, yeah? Perhaps even more so seeing as how the sensory input is not going to be just/only visual stimulus.

Q: Can blind people drop acid and see weird shit?

A: OK, OK, not just LSD, but any kind of hallucinogen

Surely some completely mad and totally twisted government somewhere in the world has tried this out on blind and/or visually impaired people. Maybe even deaf people too. And what I’m thinking here is primarily the nature of perception during “a trip”, maybe why people see what they see whilst they are tripping, what sensory input(s) are driving these visions, and most importantly of all…when.

Yeah like, if I saw something 4 years ago, heard something 11 years ago, and felt something 45 years ago, then take a hallucinogenic drug, are all of those things going to aggregate somehow and affect my current trip? The funny part about all this nonsense is that the article, above, is not really what inspired me to sit down and start writing this morning. It was a few of the articles listed in ‘Related Coverage’ at the bottom of the article page, above. I’m not gonna link them here, but the articles listed were on the subjects of ‘psychosis’, ‘PTSD’, and ‘tactile hallucinations’.

^So Inagawa – Selfless State^

Ya see, me and Roob are watching a TV show called ‘The Man In The High Castle’. The show seems to be centered around trauma(s), as well as the decision making processes before, during and after these traumas.

!!!ACHTUNG!!!

!!! 危険 !!!

!!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

!!! JUST SAYIN'!!!

There’s not much happy going on in this show. In fact there is virtually nothing happy going on in this show. Everyone seems to be in a big hurry to get away from the current traumatic experience in order to get to their next traumatic experience. So much so, that the characters seem to actually be driving this and these traumatic flows. No one has any moments of clarity and stops what they are doing…

oh no they don't

…they gotta undo and/or rectify the previous trauma by creating a new one. Hrm…sounds a bit like those “resets” I hear mentioned here and there.

Digress

Anyway, they had some people doing some LSD in this series, and it was just prior to the big reveal that there are people bouncing around alternate universes, where the outcomes to World War II are different than the ones in our own history books here. In episode 1 of season 3, they get around to addressing the trauma(s) of travel of this nature. Basically, the idea of distinguishing what is real, where and how. You saw your mom die in the fires of Hiroshima, then suddenly, you are whisked away to a universe where she is fine and dandy.

So which one is real?

You know both of the experiences, appear to have been real, but one experience is happening now because you are present, and the other…well…you aren’t there anymore…so…yeah…it did happen, but it isn’t happening now only because you aren’t there to experience it…even tho it did indeed happen, so you are always kinda experiencing it.

Make sense? No? Yeah? Both? Yeah...

I think that is some of these characters’ issue(s)…their not really sure what to do except keep going forward from where they are. BUT!!! There’s a twist.

^Gregory Porter – Liquid Spirit (Claptone Remix)^

Most people in this show have no clue that the outcome(s) were different elsewhere. As a result, they just keep doing what they’ve been doing, and they do so with absolutely no regard for “what might have been were the outcome(s) different”. So with respect to drugs, reading that article above got me to wondering about the decision-making processes that lead to unexpected outcomes. We wanted to expand our mind, we drank our Ayahuasca, we had our experience. Then years later something unexpected starts happening…we start having flashbacks of that experience and/or similar experiences in the now, even tho we’ve not taken any more Ayahuasca.

WTF?!?!?
^Unders – Syria^

I’ve never knowingly nor willingly taken LSD or any other hallucinogen.

Does reading that sentence above plant a seed of questioning in your mind? If not, it should.

I intentionally put it there

From a writing standpoint…

Q: Does the complete absence of humor make potentially sappy or corny stuff seem more serious?

A: ¿??

The thought of Americans wandering around in Nazi uniforms and/or Americans subscribing to Nazi principles on American soil is prolly a stretch for most. So, I can see this series potentially coming off to some as being totally preposterous and just downright silly. Americans bleed red, white and blue, forever and ever, amen. It’s our birthright. Even without all the time-travel bullshit, no fucking way any of this is even remotely possible. So, is that why humor is sometimes totally absent from a creative work? So it’ll be taken seriously? Let’s add a quick joke here…

Q: Why was the sand wet?

A: Because the sea weed.

^Shazam! Pitch Meeting^

NEWS FLASH!!! Just saw a Tweet from President Trump congratulating Boris Johnson on his being elected PM of Great Britain!!! I guess he won the election.

Wait...was he elected?

Like, registered voters dropped their ballots in a box, those votes were counted, and he got more votes than the other candidate(s)? You folks over there are a democracy…right? Winner wins, loser loses, everyone is happy with the outcome because win or lose, you got to participate in the process instead of being dictated to by some evil sacks of shit telling you that your opinion doesn’t count?

Man-o-man...democracy sure is great, yeah?

You have a say, you are totally stoked that you do, and you’re happy for your fellow citizens and respect their rights to be heard too. Life is grand, and you’d never, EVAR, want to subvert your fellow citizens’ rights…right?

^No Mana & i_o – Bad Things (feat. Fay) [Original Mix]^

I wonder if The Founders may have been a little to clever when they framed The US Constitution. Like, I know that they provided for change to happen, but at the same time, they didn’t exactly make it easy. I guess I wonder sometimes if they realize that they were locking many of us in to a system of government that can indeed be exploited quite easily, even tho they specifically designed our system to be difficult to exploit. Maybe that’s the problem? Building an unbreakable something almost guarantees that forces will coalesce to try and break this unbreakable something, if for no other reason than this something is being sold as something unbreakable.

^Billie Eilish – bad guy^

This guy in the vid, below, sure does jump to some sketchy conclusions pretty quickly.

The background music in the whole thing is…obvious.

:/

I mean, if you guys want defenses around your airports, just fucking get them.

Loads of your voters seem to be swinging toward ignoring any democratic processes, so I’m sure you’ll have plenty of support for your actions without requiring something so trivial as drones, to justify these actions of yours.

You want support if you can get it, but you’re gonna do what you want irrespective of support or resistance. That’s your job after all…think for others.

I get it, I really do. You got companies building things, and someone needs to step up and buy it.

Oh…and…lolz…sniping drones? Shooting them down? Fucking rofl. Great idea. I’m sure those unfortunate souls downrange in your line of fire will appreciate you killing them with stray rounds in order to save other more important lives.

(cough...and infrastructure...cough)

Again, you want AA emplacements, just fucking install them.

Problem(s) solved

Shoutout to Southend Airport since they get some coverage in this doc.

Sup y0!

Hope you can grow.

Just a thought, but, do you think that maybe UAV aircraft/technology might wind up producing an ethics shift that is not being taken into account? I recall that when offensive UAV aircraft first appeared, there were LOADS of ethical questions raised. Did all those questions get answered? Did people get starry-eyed and stop asking ethics questions? Have others been born into this non-questioning world and they have no idea what questions to even ask? Maybe look to the shifts that things rocketry/missiles and the Kamikaze caused. Offensive and defensive lines have blurred, all in the name of…stability?

Weird
^Khåen – Daphne^

Think of it like this…when a religion becomes militant and starts arming themselves, are they still considered a religion? More than that, are the people within these groups still considered religious? We seem to be following some patterns that have little if anything to do with the original designs. So why are we still clinging to the original designers and/or their plans? They got to do what they wanted in their own times, so why can’t we do the same here and now? These fuckers are long gone, right? Why do they get to keep telling us what to do? Wait…is this treasonous talk? Discussion of discretionary thinking leads to treason…

What are the odds that someone with certain roots, will unknowingly hook up with someone who has similar roots? You as a reader need to keep in mind that I’m coming at this as an American Mutt, and my lineage is fuzzy as fuck. I know people, and I know names, but their origins never really was that big of a deal. OK, well, sometimes their origins was a very big deal in that certain factions of “the family” seemed to have a vested interest in keeping those origins concealed.

Don't ask me why, I have no idea

They kept it hidden from me, still keep it hidden from me, and I’ll likely never know. I only know that I’m not supposed to know. Guess I better get on with living my life, eh? Anyway, was just wondering if I’m supposed to hook up with the people that I hook up with, and how I’m supposed to treat them when and if we do indeed hook up.

HA! Roob just messaged me and said it was really hot there today. I grabbed my phone, checked the weather, and it looks like it is 90°F/32°C there. It’s only 68°/20°C here.

lolz

Granted it’s only 8:33 in the morning here, it’s 14:33 in the afternoon there, but it’s also July 24th. Very unusual for the temperature to ever drop below 70°F/21°C in July. And yes, even at night. It has been VERY cool here the past coupla days. More easterly winds bringing in a lot of moisture over the past two days, and highly unusual weather happening here. Just yesterday I was outside and was thinking that it felt more like early September than it felt like late July. Yeah, I realize that I go on and on about these winds coming in from the East, but I cannot stress how unusual that is here in Northeast Texas. I even saw an aircraft contrail in the sky the other day. Very unusual to see contrails in summer here. Something is definitely going on with the jet stream.

Not that I'd know what

Watched some vids on this whole Iran business the other day. Wait…lemme start over. The other day, I attempted to watch some vids on this Iran business. As soon as Trump started talking, I had to turn the video off.

“They will pay a price like nobody’s ever paid a price.”

???

What does that even mean? After you go after them, you’re gonna go after all their relatives and friends and neighbors? Go after anyone that looks like them, sounds like them, as well as go after anyone that even reminds you of them? What in the hell kind of nightmare(s) are you committing us Americans to, and what if some of us want no part of it? You gonna come after me too? Call me un-American and accuse me of all kinds of other vile crap just because I don’t support your blather and/or bullshit?

Sounds fair

I think there was something about “Iran’s economy heading for a crash”, but I have no idea what that means either. Maybe someone can bring me up to speed on what I’m supposed to think about it.

^Error in my Head^

I had a ray of sunshine drop into my life yesterday. Instead of some expert someone telling me what “ascension” is, they asked a question…

What in the heck is “ascension” anyway?

Someone apparently trying to see “ascension” through the noob’s eyes, instead of looking at the concept through the master’s eyes. Not saying that I agree with everything in the article, nor that I understand everything in the article seeing as how I, myself, am a noob, and an outsider noob at that. But I’ll not qualify nor comment on the article further, and you can go read it for yourself if you want.

^Sunlounger – Lumumba (Chill Mix)^

So what is it like to not only know things that you have no idea how you know them, but to also experience things in real-time that you also know that you already know them/have already experienced them? I dunno. It’s not a problem that I have. Even if I did have such problems, I wouldn’t tell anyone.

;-P

Seriously…who the fuck am I going to tell, and why in the fuck would I be telling them? The best that I can come up with, is that maybe that and those decisions are discretionary. If my knowing this shit is not a problem for me, why should I talk about it? Out of the goodness of my heart? Yeah right…I have no heart, and even if I did have a heart, there’d be no goodness in it.

^No Mana & i_o – Bad Things (feat. Fay) [Original Mix]^

Speaking of discretion and/or being discretionary, I was reading an old post of mine, and again got thinking about a reader perhaps reading my bullshit, and wondering why I speak/write the way I do. Welp, you’d really have to had walked in my shoes to understand that, but mostly, it revolves around being told what to do. More than that, being told what to believe and/or how to behave. Who I can and cannot commingle with, and the reasons/justifications for these barriers.

These things I’ve been taught/told echo in my head. As such, when I’m writing, I sometimes think about what others have told me, I try and assume that line of thinking for the purposes of discussion, and it just comes out. Sure, I could go a different direction, but wouldn’t that also be because I’m thinking like someone else thinks I should think? ‘Tis quite difficult to speak your own mind, especially when you are trying to be considerate to others, with them showing little to no consideration for you.

EX: I had someone call me stupid the other day.

I admit that I laughed when they did, but it appeared that they were actually quite angry with me/were not laughing themselves. So I got to thinking…wait, what in the hell makes them think they can talk to me like that? Do I have a “kick me” sign on my back or something? I just asked them a question, and the response was rapid and vitriolic. We here in the US know quite well that the Social Security pot is empty, the whole thing is a Ponzi Scheme to begin with, and most of us will never get out what we paid in. A broken promise that continues to perpetuate itself.

Am I misinformed?

US Debt Clock

Those Global Hawk thingies are expensive. There appears to be some disparity in the press as to exactly how much these things cost, but there is little doubt that they are very expensive. What does that have to do with Social Security and/or the level of my intelligence? No idea. I’d be too stupid to know anyway.

^Eagea – Billy Esteban^

So yeah, I speak harshly sometimes, and the fact that I do it tongue-in-cheek, within a certain scope, prolly doesn’t matter to most people. Fair enough.
