Good. If Labour wants a by-election and its MP gives up his seat, then it is open to all parties.

Restore Britain will be standing a candidate in the Makerfield by-election.
— Rupert Lowe MP (@RupertLowe10) May 16, 2026
There is overwhelming demand from our local members to do so, and I entirely agree.
Our campaign has already started, and we aim to win thousands and thousands of votes.
More news very soon.
Reform are supposedly pro-democracy and free speech yet are spinning the narrative that @RestoreBritain_ will split the vote in Makerfield.

If you truly believe in democracy, then you should have no issues with any party standing a candidate – Let the people decide the outcome!
The existence of Restore means that Reform cannot field a non-white candidate in any byelection they reasonably expect to win. Discuss.
