Because their company founder, Benjamin Greene (definitely not called Uncle Ben) was a very naughty boy and traded slaves way back in the 19th Century, Grreene King have messed about with Scottish history and decided to change the name of a Scottish pub, The Black Bitch, founded way, way,way back in the 17th Century.
They are now calling the pub The Willow Tree because it was with a switch off a willow tree that the slaves were chastised.
That was good, wasn’t it. Grrrreat.

It amuses me that he very thoughtfully adds subtitles.
He did not translate, but explanations of “rammy” , “radge” etc. can be found in on line dictionaries of Scottish slang.
It amazed me that Trainspotting was such an international hit – without subtitles.
