Sad to say that I have no idea of what a Noun is in English. But I understand Noun in French perfectly.
Probably something to do with my ghastly level of education in England.

The same as a noun in English I expect. But I was never taught to define one, while I was taught to in French. Actually I was completely unaware of this stuff until I came here.
My accent, quite by accident is frightfully upper class so my English teacher loved to listen to me quoting Shakespeare. And you can’t go far wrong with that.
Noun in French is Nom. Name of, I suppose. Short and sweet and easy to understand.
