I’ve not had Breyers in years so I had no idea it has turned into a shitshow of a brand. Makes sense tho I guess. Over time, things change/nothing stays the same/things tend to get worse not better. Substitutions, fillers…work within the aggregate to replace a “superior” something via utilizing inferior crap. (yes, there’s a Moneyball reference there) 😉
There’s also a brand here in the USA called Dryers, so one used to have to be very cautious in stores that sold both brands, or maybe when shopping in various stores that may carry one brand or the other. If you aren’t paying attention to the labeling, one may grab a carton of one brand of ice cream thinking you are getting another brand.
Meh…labels and labeling, no one reads that confusing and cryptic crap. No time for it. These companies and their products can be trusted…right?
