Aren’t coups pretty much everpresent and ongoing things in virtually every aspect of life?
I only ask because I honestly can’t think of a time in my life when there hasn’t been a never-ending stream of story after story of Person A trying to overthrow Person B or Group X trying to overthrow Group Y.
Hell, according to some people, the entirety of creation/existence is predicated upon and sustained by, a coup…Lucifer vs. God. (or just plain old Good vs. Evil)

Doesn’t matter what arena you’re in either. I’ve no idea why anyone would ever make the mistake of thinking that a coup is not currently in the works,
Somewhere, right this very moment, someone is absolutely cooking up just that.
