*That… /lights up… was a very… /drags… Very, long month, Clicky… /plumes smoke… I mean, January generally does feel long, butt this last one… /flicks ash… seemed to take four fuckin’ years…*
*/nods… Good riddance…*
Happy First of February, Dear Reader. Hooray! It’s a brand new month…
February (n.)
month following January, late 14c., ultimately from Latin februarius mensis “month of purification,” from februare “to purify,” from februa “purifications, expiatory rites” (plural of februum “means of purification, expiatory offerings”), which is of uncertain origin, said to be a Sabine word. De Vaan says from Proto-Italic *f(w)esro-, from a PIE word meaning “the smoking” or “the burning” (thus possibly connected with fume (n.)). The sense then could be either purification by smoke or a burnt offering.
*Wot’s that gotta do with February, Clicky? …/smokes…*
The last month of the ancient (pre-450 B.C.E.) Roman calendar, so named in reference to the Roman feast of purification, held on the ides of the month. The Old English name for it was solmonað, which is said to mean “mud month.” English first borrowed the Roman name from Old French Feverier, which yielded Middle English Feverer, Feoverel, etc. (c. 1200) before the 14c. respelling to conform to Latin.
*Ah, I see… /rubs brow… An’ adding an ‘ippo into the mix gives fire, earth and water. What about air?*
*Clicky… /drags… there are lots of winds… /streams smoke…*
…And as January was particularly insufferable, here’s hoping February turns out better…
*’Scuse me, butt ‘ow exactly is that any bettah?*
*Oh, March… /rolls eyes and stubs butt… ‘Mounting Hare-steria’, there’s plenny of that, Clicky…*
I’ve always loved DP’s “Smoke on the water”. Thanks for reminding readers of it.

Don’t forget the Annul Schwabs.
The Chinese are supposedly pretty big on Astrology. So are the Japanese. Uranus is all over the recent Astrology stuff, so I gotta wonder how anal swabs are playing into this reset business with respect to signs, alignments, etc..
Yoshitaka Sakurada – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshitaka_Sakurada
“Despite being deputy chief of the government’s cyber-security strategy office, Sakurada admitted to the Japanese Diet in November 2018 that he had never used, and did not know how to use, a computer.”
A ruse?
He’s also a board member of the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
They open on 23-7-2021.
They close on 8-8-2021.

Oh, fantastic picking up Annul Schwab with Uranus! 😉
According to Molly, Uranus and Saturn meet three during the course of 2021, having a profound impact. The first time in Taurus. February 12th sees the start of the Chinese New Year and this time round it’s the year of the Ox…
‘”the domestic Bos taurus” (commonly meaning the castrated males, used to pull loads or for food), Middle English oxe, from Old English oxa “ox” (plural oxan), from Proto-Germanic *ukhson (source also of Old Norse oxi, Old Frisian oxa, Middle Dutch osse, Old Saxon, Old High German ohso, German Ochse, Gothic auhsa), from PIE *uks-en- “male animal,” (source also of Welsh ych “ox,” Middle Irish oss “stag,” Sanskrit uksa, Avestan uxshan- “ox, bull”), said to be from root *uks- “to sprinkle,” related to *ugw- “wet, moist.” The animal word, then, is literally “besprinkler.”
‘Also used from late Old English of the wild, undomesticated bovines. The black ox “misfortune, adversity, old age,” etc., is by 1540s.’

The original tweeter (the Sophia person complaining about butter packaging) has deleted their tweet.
Also, her tweets appear to be protected so I can’t even see what she’s on about regarding butter packaging.
/rolls up sleeves
Could it be a name or image on the packaging? Land-O-Lakes? Orkney Island Seaweed Butter? Scottish Pride? Imperial? Posh Cow?
Au Lait Body Butter Soap by the Scottish Soap Company?
Is this some PETA something?
Is someone mislabeling ingredients in Scotland?
Is she a small dairy being crushed by massive corporate interests and/or regulated out of existence by ridiculous legislation?
Is she an organic someone making “raw butter” and is being forced to put some kind of warning label on her products in order to sell them?
Is she a manufacturer of printing labels and/or packaging and is having some sort of trouble breaking into the butter packaging market?
If there is some something going on with butter, would be hella nice for her to let the rest of us in on what it is.

Wow,,,a flag? I wasn’t even close.
I mean yeah, it was an “offensive image”, but I never would have guessed it was the Union Jack.
Which, that reminds me…do you know that there are actually three flags that fly quite regularly in Texas?
US Flag (of course)
Texas State Flag (of course)
Mexican Flag (wait…WUT?!?!?!?)
Yep…they’re everywhere. A foreign flag of a nation that was kicked the fuck out of Texas over 174 years ago regularly flies over American soil in the State of Texas to this very day.
A little bit of a different situation since Scotland is a part of the UK, and Mexico and the USA are sovereign nations, but a similar theme.
I have shitloads of thoughts regarding the flag of Mexico currently flying over properties in Texas, but I’ll spare you from them here.
That said, it’s kinda weird the situation in Scotland where some appear to prefer to have no problem with the EU flag flying over their territory, but the Union Jack is offensive.
