Supplemental Yellow…

Dear Reader, this post is supplemental to my previous post from earlier today on Citizen Vigilante, and has been prompted by the above tweet – I didn’t cover the exploding car because, well, it was yellow…

… Whilst Sanders is driving the corrupt judge to his place of death, he opines that people are just sheep and will follow rules and not break the law even if it means their death. Coincidentally, Clicky posted about sheep and the myths we consume just two days ago, but that’s synchronicity for you 😉

To prove his point, Sanders drives directly at a yellow car, playing chicken with the driver. The yellow car swerves at the last second, causing it to run off the road and explode in a ditch…

… Sanders laments that the driver of the yellow car died because they wouldn’t even break the law to cross into Sander’s empty lane to avoid collision. In fact he said they wouldn’t break the law to cross into ‘our lane’. Apart from firmly establishing Sanders as an ultimate anti-hero, it has made me rethink the relevance of the car’s colour. Yellow. Obviously, I’ve been focusing how green the movie is, but there have been two very recent incidences of yellow that I’ve seen. The first was an outfit, last week…

… The other isn’t obviously yellow but did occur yesterday…

… Twice…

… And Q is, of course, associated with yellow

… There’s a photograph taken of the Princess of Wales and President Trump from last year, when he paid our country a visit. It was taken at the State Dinner…

… I think about this photo often as, to me, the pair of them look like they have struck a bargain, cut a deal. Also, she was wearing yellow. If, as E.M. Burlingame has stated, the Royal Family has been captured, might they need rescuing?

Was the game of chicken played with the yellow car in Citizen Vigilante a message then? For whom?

… Of course, uranium is also known as ‘yellowcake‘ 😉

Okay, that’s about enough posting for today, Dear Reader. Normal service will resume tomorrow when Clicky returns. In the meantime, have a Song…
