Long form podcasts, X/social, prediction markets etc deciding this election. Also holding traditional media accountable. Happened gradually then suddenly.
Okay, Dear Reader, I got the date wrong when I mentioned to Leggy my Purple People Eater sync anniversary. So, yesterday was a MAGAnificent day for supporters of Donald Trump and general fans of humour. As a campaign photo-op event, as well as expertly troll his opponent and her imaginary CV, he went to work at a McDonald’s restaurant. It was tremendously successful and much joy was had by everyone. On X, the memes flowed thick and fast, and like a McDonald’s coffee or their scorching apple pie filling, those memes burned. Bad.
