*Haha. I don’t think the gates on the front cover image are electrified, Clicky… /drags… Although the house does reminds me of Dumey’s place and that is located in a swamp…*
Happy day, Dear Reader! Underdog Anthology 24: Monster is now published and available for purchase…ย
*Yes, it is, Clicky, just under 400 pages…*
… I would recommend the Kindle version as it is not only cheaper but it is less likely to strain your hand holding it whilst reading; the paperback version would make a fine doorstop.
So, the Afterword. I had been working on mutilating one poem that synced nicely with what was going on at the time (i.e. a hurricane), and the date the book would eventually be published…
… But I didn’t know what would be the result of the US Election on 5th November, although I hoped Trump would prevail. I didn’t want to jinx it in any way, so decided to focus on the winner of that other important election this year, that of 4th July in the UK. Goodness knows the Labour government has jinxed itself enough already…
*I believe you, Clicky…*
It's pretty amazing that the new President of the USA, the leader of the free world, loves our country more than our own Prime Minister does.
I have found the last four years to be an almost intolerable period. A very un-American period in that any questioning, any opinions, any likes or dislikes were held up to a very limited list of โpermitted positionsโ in order to assess acceptability. 2/
โฆ was demonized. Only โpermitted positionโ behavior and speech was โallowed.โ Complete intolerance became almost a religion and oneโs professional and social life was threatened almost constantly. Those that spoke otherwise were ruined as a warning to others.Their destruction 4/

โฆlabels like โSexist,โ โracist,โ โhomophobic,โ etc, when the free-thinking and questioning was nothing of the sort. However, the mob mentality that followed caused these social convictions when there was often no evidence to support them. (See Charles McKayโs 1841 book, 8/
I am neither one extreme or the other, but am one of the millions of people who believe in common sense, and that everyone should be free to live their lives however they want, unless that freedom interferes with someone elseโs freedom to live their own life. Thatโs it. 10/fin
-โฆ nature of the location flattens this emotional delivery. Consider a different location. A moving car, as as opposed to a parked car, would had an element of uncertainty that would match the actressโ delivery. 3/fin

When you wake up to hear the man who most of your cabinet insulted is now the President; his best mate, the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, has said he's coming for you and it's war; and his other mate is the leader of a party looking to become the official opposition soon. pic.twitter.com/bnsV0gbRVd
