Back in 1963, for sad depressing, depressed UK just the thought that there was somewhere in the world where young folk could spend all day with an eskie full of beer, on a perfect beach, with perfect sunshine, perfect surf and perfect friends was a fantasy.
For us Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (the very good filum ) was something to aspire to.
